Meet Our Founder:
A Mother’s Mission Turned Movement
My name is Cynthia Yancey, and I founded KJ’s Genesis Inc. in honor of my incredible son, KJ. Born with multiple medical challenges and later diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, KJ transformed not only my life as a mother — but my entire purpose.
With over 20 years of experience as a Behavioral Specialist Consultant and Clinical Coordinator, I’ve worked to improve the lives of children with special needs. But nothing prepared me for the personal journey of raising a child on the spectrum.
KJ’s Genesis Inc. was born out of that deeply personal experience. Our mission is to educate, advocate, and partner with agencies and communities to create spaces where children like KJ can thrive — spaces that are sensory-conscious, welcoming, and empowering.

ADVOCACY
Advocacy ensures that individuals on the autism spectrum receive the essential services and support they deserve. By understanding and exercising their rights, families and caregivers can secure the resources that help autistic men, women, and children thrive.
PARENT SUPPORT
We offer support groups that provide emotional encouragement, practical resources, and community connection to reduce isolation and inspire hope for families.

EDUCATION
Education empowers caregivers, families, and communities to better understand autism and meet the needs of those on the spectrum through workshops, parenting groups, and community conferences.
AUTISM AWARENESS
Our events raise awareness, connect families to resources, and empower parents and caregivers through community, shared experiences, and faith that goes beyond clinical limits.
